Dorothy Peter - Soprano I
I'm proud to say I am the oldest chorus member (72) now since Skip Neal isn't singing with us. It is very refreshing to be with all these talented, young ones. I'm a retired elemetary school teacher and I try to keep in good shape by still down-hill skiing (several times a week), playing tennis, and I try to walk a couple miles each day I don't ski. I've been a singing member of the chorus (soprano I) since 1988.
Yolanda Roman - Soprano II
I grew up in Pueblo, CO. When I was 18 I moved to Cleveland, OH where I attended Cleveland State University and worked in the mortgage business. I lived there for 3 years and decided to return to Colorado. I was able to transfer within my company to their Greenwood Village location. I am still in the mortgage business, though with a different employer. I hope to become a real estate appraiser though. I am addicted to watching TV series on Netflicks. Right now I'm watching, The Wire, Sopranos, and Six Feet Under. Then I'll be watching OZ, the Lword, and Carnivale. Also I love the show Weeds. I like hip hop, R&B, rap, rock, alternative. Some of my fav CDs right now are Fallout Boy, and Panic @ the disco.
Kelly Ruof - Alto I
Sharon S. Russell, D.D.S. - Soprano II
Grew up in Edmonds, Washington; Bangkok, Thailand; and Kwajalein, Marshall Islands. Came to Denver in '72, came out in '75, went back in '77! Finally remembered who I was in '94, found the chorus in '96 and have been singing my heart out with great joy ever since.
