Joey Locke - Alto I, Co-Section LeaderI'm a Southern ex-patriate who learned to sing harmony growing up in church. Ironically, I now sing in synagogue when I'm not in chorus. I heal sick computers for a living, but one day I would like to pursue my art full-time. I live with my beautiful partner, Miryam, and our four little subversives, who will one day take over the world.

Having lived in VA my entire life, a trip to CO last November changed my path and destiny. I moved to Denver last March and haven't looked back. Joining the DWC completed the charts and I am excited about the journey I have begun with them. I look forward to many new friends, many magical concerts, and many incredible experiences with this group.

I come from Wyoming where I grew up on a cattle ranch. Having attended a small liberal arts college in the midwest, I moved to Denver to work as a microbiologist at University Hospital. I've also worked support for the chorus for 14 years.
Connie North - Soprano I, Section Leader
I have sung in choirs since I was nine years old and love singing more than anything else in the world. In college I was a music history major and enjoyed it but my fondest memories are of singing in the touring choir. Perhaps that explains why I have sung with the chorus since its first season as the Denver Women's Chorus and have never taken a season off. I can't imagine life without it!
