Megan Darricau - Soprano I
Musically I've been singing in one capacity or another most of my life, and in 1998 started playing the folk harp. I joined the DWC in February 2003 for The Joy Factor season and am now a Member At Large of the Board of Directors. I am a devoted CSI fan (the original, NOT Miami or New York) and I live with my fur kids, Milo and Raisin.
Barb Eberhardt - Alto II, Board Member
I joined the chorus after its third concert, which was held at the Paramount Theater and have been a member ever since with the exception of three seasons. I am a retired elementary music teacher. At this time
I am endeavoring to increase my artistic skills by attending art classes at Red Rocks Community College. Drawing and painting has become a second career and a definite passion for me. I do enjoy music activities as well. I sing in Denver Women's Chorus of course and I also play the Tuba in the Mile High Freedom Band. I also enjoy several sport activities such as golfing, hiking and skiing. I am a native of Colorado and would not want to live anywhere else.
Karen Edson - Alto I
I joined the chorus right after moving to Denver from Kansas in the early 80's. In fact I met my partner of 20 years in the DWC. Recently I have retired from 35 years as an educator. I am enjoying my freedom and am keeping very busy with swimming and my long list of projects. I love to sing, love that my friends and family come to the concerts to support me. I especially love the crowds at the concerts. There is nothing better than knowing you have contributed to an evening of enjoyment for our loyal fans. It is a tremendous feeling knowing you are a part of continuing a wonderful tradition for "Women of Denver".
