I have been involved in the Denver Women's Chorus off and on for over fifteen
years. I love singing in an all women's choir. My family is very important to
me. I have a life-partner of over 19 years, Pat. I also have a 25 year old son, Shaun. Additionally, I have two dogs, one
beagle - Sophie, and one Westie-Carin Terrier mix - Crystal. Other extended family
is located in Colorado and Georgia. Professionally, I am a Web Developer for Curian Captial, and I also create and maintain websites in my own Web Design business. My website address is http://www.designbydi.com.
Ann Chamberlin - Alto I
I came from California to major in skiing and Philosophy at the University of Colorado. After retiring from teaching in Cherry Creek Schools for 31 years, I now enjoy my free time being a very part-time assistant for a local Veterinarian, co-leading a Girl Scout Troop, hiking, skiing, and traveling. South America is my next destination. Joining the chorus was a "rite of passage" for me. It helps me stay in tune with myself and others.
Christine Childs - Alto II
I am Mom to two wonderful kids (Lohr, 16, and Taliacyn, 3) and a native of the US Navy (20 years Navy Brat, 4 active duty, 4 more reserves...)I moved to Colorado from Montana with my family in 1997 after graduating from the University of Montana because there was actually work here. I've fallen in love with the community and everything about Colorado - I think I'm finally putting down some roots! My greatest weakness is my collection of musical instruments, though I'm terrible about actually practicing them. I play a bit of saxophone, dulcimer, recorder, flute, one-handed keyboard, and drums. I don't spend near enough time singing or making music. I'm thrilled to be a part of the DWC and proud to be a new member of the Alto II cult...
