Artistic Staff
Artistic Director
Mark Zwilling
Mark was hired as the Denver Women's Chorus fifth Artistic Director in its seventeen year history in 2002 and we are very excited to have him aboard. Mark's educational and professional background in music is extensive, and currently he is the Director of Music (overseeing fourteen choirs!) at St. Andrew United Methodist Church in Littleton. Mark moved here from Dallas, Texas where he worked with Tim Seeling and the Women's Chorus of Dallas on several special projects, and he was the Director of Worship for the Cathedral of Hope, the largest metropolitan church in the world.
Mark is an actively performing pianist and private voice teacher as well. His talents have led him throughout the country where he has worked with individuals such as the ex-Phantom of the Opera star Michael Crawford, and he has performed under the auspices of the National Endowment for the Arts. Mr. Zwilling holds four degrees in music and graduated with honors from DePaul University in Chicago.
